So, hey. Kidnapped huh. [Kidnapped again, more like it. He leans back and strokes his lack of beard, allowing the rest of his face to be seen. There's a Sentret flopped over his shoulder like a pancake.]

This is a lot better than most kidnappings I've been to. I even get a free--uh, I'm not sure what this is. [He checks out that Sentret. It's a little familiar to him but not quite enough. Like a squished fire ferret.] Yeah, I don't know. But he is adorable! Don't tell Pabu I said that.

[The Sentret makes some little squeaky noises from his shoulder.]

Ahh, guys! It's assaulting me with cuteness! Do you think I should name him?

Right, buddy? [This part is to his sentret. His enthusiasm is contagious apparently, because after a brief moment of confusion the sentret bounces up and down on his tail in agreement.]

I'm going to hang out in Cherrygrove for a while and earn some money. Is Violet where you are? Looks like it's not too far.

If I'm gonna be stuck here, I'd like to see the sights. But I'd better have some cash first.

We should definitely hang out, though.

If you strengthen your pokemon, I think you'll find winning battles against other trainers will be more profitable.

All right, I'll work on it. So long as they're up for fighting, anyway. Maybe I've got a little pacifist here.

I think you'll be surprised at how competitive your little pacifist can be, when it comes to battling other pokemon. The creatures seem to thrive on it.
