So, hey. Kidnapped huh. [Kidnapped again, more like it. He leans back and strokes his lack of beard, allowing the rest of his face to be seen. There's a Sentret flopped over his shoulder like a pancake.]

This is a lot better than most kidnappings I've been to. I even get a free--uh, I'm not sure what this is. [He checks out that Sentret. It's a little familiar to him but not quite enough. Like a squished fire ferret.] Yeah, I don't know. But he is adorable! Don't tell Pabu I said that.

[The Sentret makes some little squeaky noises from his shoulder.]

Ahh, guys! It's assaulting me with cuteness! Do you think I should name him?

He is, right? I bet I can teach him some tricks pretty quickly, too. He seems smart.

All of the pokémon seem to be quite smart. I'd wager he might know a trick or two already.

Really? Great! Though I guess people might not want to pay if they're used to seeing tricks. We'll have to come up with something special.

You know, we were street performers when things got tight sometimes. We'd sit in the street and Pabu would do tricks, and people would give us money.

Oh! That's actually not something I've really seen around here. It might still work!

Really? All right! Maybe I can get some food!

If you're worried about money, a lot of the places around the different towns will hire pokémon trainers in part-time jobs to help pay their way around Johto.

I'm mostly worried because this town is so small ... they don't seem to have a shop at all.

Are you in New Bark? If so you're about a three-day walk from the next town, which is a bit larger.

[rocking_it]

Yeah, I'm gonna head there soon as my head's on straight. It looks like that's my best option.

Good idea. There's really not enough in New Bark to make it worth staying in.

I'm Bolin! And yeah, I'm kind of getting that impression.

[He looks around and starts walking. No reason he can't do both at once. So long as he doesn't run into any trees.]

At least it doesn't look like it's very hard to find the next town.

It's been a while since I've made that trek myself, but the walk from New Bark to Cherrygrove is pretty straightforward.

It's good to hear that, I'm not exactly used to finding my way from town to town. Going to need to find some of those berries too ...

You should have a map in your bag, but asking around on the 'gear is also a good way to help if you get lost.

Weeeell I was thinking of Banji because of the rings, but I haven't gotten his opinion on that yet.

I think it's a great name. [ She glances at the pokémon perched on Bolin's shoulder ] What do you think?

[The sentret replies by standing on its tail and then flopping over onto Bolin's head.]
