So, hey. Kidnapped huh. [Kidnapped again, more like it. He leans back and strokes his lack of beard, allowing the rest of his face to be seen. There's a Sentret flopped over his shoulder like a pancake.]

This is a lot better than most kidnappings I've been to. I even get a free--uh, I'm not sure what this is. [He checks out that Sentret. It's a little familiar to him but not quite enough. Like a squished fire ferret.] Yeah, I don't know. But he is adorable! Don't tell Pabu I said that.

[The Sentret makes some little squeaky noises from his shoulder.]

Ahh, guys! It's assaulting me with cuteness! Do you think I should name him?

I'm used to...different animals. Mostly sheep and dragons.

[She whistles and snaps her fingers, and an Axew comes bounding into view holding a branch. He runs over and plops down to gnaw on it at her feet.]

Sheep? [What is this sheep?]

Oh hey, he's cute. [It's a shame they're talking over the net, Bolin obviously wants to pet him.]

[Okay, she wasn't expecting that.] You know, sheep? White, fluffy, eat grass, dumb as rocks?

[She had kind of a low opinion of sheep. The Axew seems to notice he's being talked about and pokes his head up to peer at the camera, tail wagging, before he goes back to gnawing on his stick.]

Uh, no, never heard of those. Maybe you mean koala sheep?

[punchandkiss]

...Koala sheep? What?

[rocking_it]

I don't know too much about them, really, they're just fluffy things with big noses and ears, right?

[punchandkiss]

Sheep usually don't have big ears, no.

Maybe this is an 'other worlds' thing.

[Which she'll never get used to.]

Oh right. Weird. I've barely been out of the City until recently. It's been our home forever.

[punchandkiss]

I've never left Berk. And it was just a little village.

You...kind of get used to being here.

[rocking_it]

I guess, but I don't like being here without my brother. I mean, I can take care of myself [sure] but you don't split up brothers, right?

[punchandkiss]

Yeah...that would suck. I'm sorry.

Maybe he'll be here too?

Maybe. I feel like if he were here I'd have seen him already.

Well, it's okay! I should focus on taking care of this little guy for now. [Here he pets his Sentret again. He really needs to come up with a name for this guy.]

You never know. It was a couple hours before I found someone from home here.

Yeah, they can be a handful. I have five now.

Yeah. And I guess somebody's got to be first, righht?

Wow, really? --Though I guess they seemed to think I was here to train these guys. [Hmmm.]

That's what the book says.

And people here seem to end up with a lot of them.

Well, I don't mind taking care of them while I'm here. But I don't know that I can take care of that many and myself. Guess it depends on how much they eat.

[punchandkiss]

Mine have been eating a lot of berries. At first I was worried, but they seem to know which ones are safe instinctively.

There's...pokemon food you can buy, too, but I haven't yet.

[rocking_it]

Berries I can do! And I'll just get a job for myself.

[He's flipping through his manual a bit.]

This seems a little overwhelming, but I think I've got it.

[punchandkiss]

It's...not as complicated as it looks. Mostly, you catch these little creatures and train them to fight so they get stronger. [She shrugs.] Everything else seems to be a...side effect of that.

I've trained Pabu to do all kinds of tricks so I can definitely do this!

But training them to fight seems kind of mean.

[punchandkiss]

So far all of mine seem to like doing fighting. And the wild ones come running over to attack.

[rocking_it]

Really?

I guess it's different if they like it. I'm a pro-bender myself, after all.

Er, they attack?

[punchandkiss]

Pro-bender? Why would anyone be a professional bender?

[She's picturing aerobics.]

Yeah, they do. But if you take your time your own pokemon should stay stronger than the wild ones.

People like to watch! We even made it all the way to the finals!

Ok. I guess I'll have to keep him from getting his little furry head in too deep.

[She sounds so utterly confused about this.]

Yeah, just take it carefully. Most of the ones around town there seem to be weaker than the starters.
